I've noticed in some youtube videos I've watched that there's some objects and textures missing from my game.

You can see grass growing on the soil, even on the train track towards the end of the video. In my game I do not have any extra objects like that. Is it because I have an older version or something?

You'll need to use the "game settings" .exe and check the box for "detail objects" then set a distance that they are viewable.
