does someone have a map with the district name for Pathologic? I'm on day four and asked by Victor to examine houses in the tanner district, but I have no idea where it's supposed to be...

Oh, it's just the same large district that was infected a day before. Here's the map. Note that as the translation was very buggy, with some inconsistencies and different translations for one name, it is only one variant for districts' names that I marked on this map. Perhaps even not the best one possible.

For me it's even one translation gap more, since I'm playing the german version of the game, but so far I can recognize all those disctrict name's I remember hearing during the game

Don't know any translation gaps there;) German version was translated by native speakers, it was some pretty old company and with a very long list of localised games. I suppose they asked each time something was not clear enough. At least, I still have these 2 thousand questions they asked . Even though German localisation was released before UK release, it was based on the English version. And by that time we already had a decent list of major mistranslations, a finished glossary of all game's terms and names and "acceptable" variants of translations for them. It was a shock, however, as noone could imagine just how many ambiguos phrases were there for the translators, so these lots of questions were a suprise. At the end of it, of course. It all started pretty innocent, with only one or two hundred of them.
Of course, it's for you to test the quality of this, as I don't know German . The only thing left for me is to hope it was done good, judging by the fact the translators at least speak German as their first language.

With "gap" I meant that I have to translate the names from german back to english to compare with the map. Most are easy, but I had to look up the english word "tanners", for example.

As for the german translation, sometimes I don't know if something was meant to sound enigmatic in the first place, or was made enigmatic by translation. Some dialogues seem a bit disjointed, as if the sentences where written out of context. There's also a few typos here and there (I've seen only two so far, and now finished day 4)

The only bigger mistake I encountered was Georgi calling Victor MY brother, that was kinda funny...

Yeah, that's what I meant. He said it as if Victor would be the player character's brother.

I've since played day 5, and most of the money amounts for quests are messed up in the text. Wlad says he'd give you 30000, but the real amount was 20000, same with Victor (30000/25000). The gangster boss even asks to give you 40000 to take out the guards, but for real he only takes 10000. The crazy request of 60000 to release the prisoners was accurate, sadly .

oh shit, I just checked this in the texts, and you are right - I'm afraid we are to blame for this, and the translation into German has nothing to do with it. The same text says "Ten thousand, doctor" in Russian and "About fourty k, doc" in English just in the coulmn to the right:(. It seems that some phrases in English version... day 5, 1(?) and some quest notes, I think, were left from the translation done by our in-house translator, the same one that translated Burah's part of the game. I think now that some of these are a bit outdated, which lead to this mistake. While the scenario is hardly any different, the game was rebalanced since then, so... well.. some numbers became wrong.
