Don't know any translation gaps there;) German version was translated by native speakers, it was some pretty old company and with a very long list of localised games. I suppose they asked each time something was not clear enough. At least, I still have these 2 thousand questions they asked

. Even though German localisation was released before UK release, it was based on the English version. And by that time we already had a decent list of major mistranslations, a finished glossary of all game's terms and names and "acceptable" variants of translations for them. It was a shock, however, as noone could imagine just how many ambiguos phrases were there for the translators, so these lots of questions were a suprise. At the end of it, of course. It all started pretty innocent, with only one or two hundred of them.
Of course, it's for you to test the quality of this, as I don't know German

. The only thing left for me is to hope it was done good, judging by the fact the translators at least speak German as their first language.
