Post subject:  Help With Frozen Cutscene?

I just bought The Void on Steam, and when I started it up to finally play it, it played the initial cutscene where the girl is talking. But now it goes to a scene where there is music in the background and the camera is just panning over some smoke and occasionally a yellowish tree thing. I have tried everything to get past this, I have no idea what to do. Please help!

That is main menu background, but for some reasson the options and text are not apearing.

Are you forcing any option in the GFX card?
Have you tried to verify the integrity of the game cache in steam?

I am not sure what either of those things that you suggested are lol, but how would I go about verifying the game integrity?

By the way, I appreciate your help more than you know.

Right click on steam entry for the game and click properties, then go to local files and you have the option to verify there.
