Cargo! is all about building crazy vehicles. So... show us what you've got!
Post some screenshots of your creations and (if you wish) share your blueprints too.

[Select the appropriate blueprint from (documents folder)/My Games/Cargo/Savegames/apparatus/]

NOTE: This thread is bound to contain SPOILERS so if you haven't finished the game yet - be careful!

I'll make more crazy vehicles next time!

Looks great. Reminds me on those rocket trucks somehow.
Inspired by reading "amphibian" I tried to build one myself... with the ability to fly as an extra.

Screenshot #1
Screenshot #2

It's based on that normal car construction plan.
And yes, it really can fly. Well, at least enough to finish the last chapter.

Great game, I don't regret the purchase. Weird but unique gameplay. Confusing but fantastic story-telling (although I did not understand everything). I got the Master of FUN achievement in the end and I don't have a clue what to do to reach the other ending. But I am motivated to play Cargo again and once again I just begun to look forward to IPLs next game. :D

Wow greater than mine!
Looks cool, and unique propella works.

I made 2nd vehicle "Riser"
http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/57892 ... CD0B13070/
http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/57892 ... DE9CD8D5B/

You can rise faster, but forward slowly.

The 3rd vehicle "BigDaddy"
http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/57892 ... C58537909/
http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/57892 ... 570B4A655/
http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/57892 ... F7B46CCB4/

Arrow UP rotate heli propella, and D key boost your speed! Fly up like VTOL.

 Wow! :o

wakuwaku3, you are a genius! I love the 'Riser' but my mind has officially been blown by the 'BigDaddy'.
Oh yeah, also received this message about it from The LxR: It actually works? o_____O

Throdax, I'm liking the Hulk as well.

--

Here are a few of mine:

Failed early experiment #1: Wheeled machine on a budget
(Almost) (No, not quite)

Failed early experiment #2: The car that thought it could fly
(Almost) (Still not there)

The bouncy hi-rider [Note: Flawkes has to jump to get into this one!]
(#1) (#2) (#3)

Oh, so that's how you make a two-wheeler!
(I understand now!)

Thanks! :D
Ofcourse there are working vehicles (but a few technique recommend).
If you wish, try to ride my vehicles.

*Running on ground by BigDaddy, you must rotate heli propeller very very little power.

unzip wakuwaku3_00, and put files to there...
[Select the appropriate blueprint from (documents folder)/My Games/Cargo/Savegames/apparatus/]

I love this game. I remember childhood, feel like playing blocks or junks in sandlot.

The behemoth on my 25-buddy and 50-buddy runs:

25
50

Edit: And because this game is hilarious, I decided to see how much I could lift:
I call it the skull
Look at that weight!
Requirements

It is capable of all forms of travel, excluding sub-maritime expeditions, but that is only because the box is bouyant. It used to be able to take off from the water, but adding the wings and the tail keeps it from doing that. It cost me 500,000 or so to buy all of the necessary motors and such. Totally worth it, just to see it chug along through the air at ridiculously low speeds.

Thanks reply and downloads.
I made new vehicles, but so far crazy. Perhaps I cannot make crazy one more than BigDaddy

"Dozer"
http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/57892 ... 7DBA8ED75/
http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/57892 ... 59161CEE5/

Most of kids like this.

"BlackBox"

http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/57892 ... 6731A4EA7/

Yes! It's flying by alien technology! Max 126 buddies with you.

Oh, pure coincidence. It's similar to Wally's concept. :)

Wally, Throdax, wakuwaku: There is some hugely imaginative (and just HUGE) stuff going on here!

I think my favourite has to be The Dozer, simply because it
1) looks so badass
2) fulfills a childhood need to drive heavy construction machinery
AND
3) that buddy in the second screenshot looks like he's running, scared of it!

Has anyone built one that can reach 250-300+ KM/h? Been trying for a while now with no success. Even took my best model to the top of the skyscraper and tried to drive down the side of it in hopes of increasing speed.

Lots of powerful engines and lots of wheels/propelors :)

I found the best way to reach 300+ is to get some large plane and fly it to the ends of the level, where it will bounce off at a massive speed.

I present: The Icedenburg (also known as OMGWTF)

Image

I don't think that the ingame "weight" stat is correct because I have seen "heavier" vehicles posted here... but with only a fraction of the lifting power.
But stats or not - nothing can possibly be as cool as flying your own island.

Here you see it flying at it's ceiling altitude.
Even with these massive engine gondolas... walking would be faster... but that's not the point! =P

Note navigator and co-pilot standing beside the pilot. The... vehicle... is so big it can carry passengers without officially "picking them up".

While it gets you there I would recommend something smaller for your grocery shopping. I always have a hell of a time finding parking space at the mall.

Wooden ships and iron well... women!

Image

Hoist the topsail an' shiver the mizzen ye scurvy landlubbers! ARRR!

Okay, so sailing ships pretty much suck for everything in Cargo! but they are pretty. =P

Oh, BTW:
the best way to use a sailing ship in Cargo! goes like this:
Image

By now you will have noticed that the engineer cannot walk over the tiniest vertical step in this game.
So put a step in front of your boat. Now you can simply run (not swim!) where you want to go.
It still counts as "pushing the ship" even though you're standing on the ship yourself.
Baron von Münchhausen physics. =)

I expanded it a little to include a helipad... with a double function as a boat pier !

Here you see the Icedenburg 2 in the water. You can drive a small boat into the area shown by 2 small poles in the water.

Image

Here you see how this looks airborne or on the ground.

Image

When lifting from water, the "sieve" fishes your small craft out of the water while the railing prevents it from sliding off during sharp turns.
Now that's proper engineering! =P
Well, somewhat sharp turns. Kind of... a little bit sharp, okay?

Hah, apparats. =)
You russians are a funny bunch.
I'm a great fan of Ivan Dolvich in JA1. When he insulted the player (me =), he would speak russian... with cyrillic subtitles. =P
