Hey all.

Found the demo cruising the web and downloaded it. This is one weird game! However that doesn't mean it doesn't look very promising. I have been looking for something different for a long time now, and this game could be it.

Is there any word when the full game will be released in the US and how much it will cost in US dollars?

Also, is the final version going to be exactly like the demo or will some things be changed. As interesting as it is, I'm having some trouble figuring out what is going on, and I think some of it may be the Russian to English translation in some of the dialog trees. Could just be I need to play it a bit more though.

Will this be a digital download similar to Etrom the Astral Essence an Italian game, that I almost bought from Direct2Drive, and would have if it wasn't for the click click click mechanics of it.

Oh, and one more thing, anyone know approx. how long the gameplay is? Seems like it could be a huge open ended game with a fascinating story which is always a good thing.

Thanks very much.

We don't know yet. However, game is already released in UK. At least, this is how our former producer informed us:)

The demo was made on the base of one of the last english versions.

No. At least, I haven't heard anything like this, so I is quite inprobable that game will be distribited by means of some digital download.

72 hours:). Usually it is lesser, but normal, comfortable gameplay without hurrying to end this game ("the sooner the better") is this long. Recommended regime is 1-2 days per real day. While testing the final english master I had to complete game in one day (8 hours, perhaps 10-12). Yeah, I've done it. Even reading the texts. I even noticed some erratas and term usage mistakes, checked all the quests. But after this I went to bed and slept the whole evening:). Reading 700+ pages in one day is too much for a normal head.

Each character has approximately 24 hours of gameplay. But we have three of them! (c) Ivan Bunakov (his words from the interview with Adventure Europe:))
Game time is not "real-time". The day expires in two hours. But while sleeping or after some events (like the one in demo - when you are arrested, then some period of time just "evaporates" in one minute) time goes faster. On the other hand, time is literally stopped while you are reading dialogues, letters or questlog. Anyway, "normal" walktrough is 2 hours per day on average. If you complete more quests, not just sleep after completing the main, then you spend more time walking/fighing/gatering herbs (food, junk etc...) and reading dialogues. If you scroll dialogues through, paying almost no attention to phrases and read only questlog carefully - then the game will end sooner. However, the pleasure of completing this game without reading at all is questionable.

If you have e-mule, then you may download gameplay movie I made (I made two, 5 and 24 minutes long) to see more. As the game is already released in Russia (9 June 2005), Germany (20 April 2006) and UK (end of March 2006), there are no formal reasons to keep them, as "anybody can do this using their game's copies".

Appreciate the reply.

Also thanks for the gameplay tip in my other post.

Good to see there's someone here and I would expect more people from the states to start heading here once they get a taste of the game.

It sounds like you may be one of the developers of the game and if so I wish you luck with it.

Well, the game has just began to sell in non Russian speaking countries, so it's quite natural, that there aren't many users here. Anyhow me and Halfgild will be glad to help - just ask. ^_^
