I slept on day 2 and awoke just before midnight. I've been wandering all over town and can't find what I'm supposed to do -- no quests or missions for the day. I did get a letter from Haruspicus around 7:30 am, but it didn't direct me anywhere.

Is it common for Klara to have so much free time to wander? Is that so she'll have time to go into infected houseds and cure people to keep her reputation up? It just seems like the other 2 characters had a lot more to do when they were awake.

During the first six days the main quest, as well as a secondary one is given in the morning (after 7:00 that is) at Alexander Saburov and Catherina Saburova correspondently. On the seventh day and on you'll figure it out somehow. ) Also from the 6-th day you won't have enough time to do anything, if you wish to complete all the daily quests, not just the main one.

P.S. - Klara's scenario features the most unintelligible giberish in texts ever. ) Beware, you've been warned.

Yes, the English translation is very poor (unlike the Quest List and Walkthrough translations :] ). I am somehow getting used to this weird English, though, and can actually understand most of what they are getting at. Sometimes the exact opposite meaning is conveyed in the translation, which is dangerous for the quests and tasks, and also for properly guessing which response will best suit the ai's conversation.

I really wish they had taken the time to consult an English speaking person about the translation before releasing the English version of the game. A number of people to whom I recommended the game very quickly tired of muddling their way through poorly translated passages and put the game aside. It became more work and less fun for them. Ultimately, no matter how depressing or bloody or tension-filled a game environment is meant to be, the game must be still be fun to be worthwhile.

I made it to day 8, then managed to get a very messy 'text only' version of the walkthrough using Wordpad. A lot of the things in the walkthrough never came up in my version of playing the game. My game seems to be going differently. For one thing, I never got any task from the Inquisitor regarding cleaning up any districts or looking for my clone Klara. I also never found anytrhing sending me to the abbatoir to meet the Mother or to Spitka (sp?) for a fairy tale.

I decided to read about the other characters' walkthroughs and discovered that all 3 of my games played out differently from those in the walkthrough. For example, as Haruspicus, I declined to fight the Elder and still 'won' (I think). At least I survived and wound up having to choose the fate of the town.

Are any of these fates considered the 'right' ending and any of them 'wrong'? Or are they all just Fate, as unjudgable by man as any greater reality.
