Hello! I hope no one minds a random question by someone new to the forum. I love Pathologic to bits, and cherish my copy of it. It has given me a lot of sleepless nights, but that's okay - it is still one of my favourite games, hands down :).

That said, I have a question! Playing as Burakh, I find myself with a lot of extra misc items on my hands (like organs and herbs.) Is it safe to stash them in containers and trust they will still be there if I come back to fetch them later? For example, I have just spoken to Ospina and collected my heritage. I gathered all the herbs and recipes, and to make space for them in my inventory I swapped some random items into the box they came from. Can I leave for a while, and collect those items from the box later during the day? Or will they disappear after a time...?

Thank you in advance! :)

They will remain there for a few hours (a day?), but if you want a safe place to store things overnight and actually forever, use your own box in your laboratory.

Thank you for your help! Wow, was I relieved to see that chest crop up in my lab. Juggling inventory items was beginning to turn into a rather elaborate procedure :D.

Don't worry though, your inventory will always seem too small while playing Burakh. Pathologic: making frustration fun since 2005!
