Hi there! Just started the game and realized that, for unknown reasons, the sound that should come from behind, comes from my center and front speakers and vice-versa... I never experienced something like this before. I thought I could fix this by switching my front and rear plugs... and it works, but I still get rear sound from my center speaker then, so that's not an option... It's a shame, because otherwise the surround sound seems to be great. For an alternate "solution" I was searching for an option to switch the game's sound output to stereo, instead of surround, so I could just upmix the stereo signal to my rear speakers, but couldn't find anything in the config files. I would miss out on the true surround sound that way, but it would be a lot better than the reversed front-rear sound I am having right now... I hope anyone can help me with this issue, it's really odd and I'm clueless. Thanks in advance! - GOG version of the game - Creative Soundblaster X-Fi Titanium - win7 x64. P.S. I will switch to 2.1 mode in my sound driver for now. But using only 2 out of 5 speakers from a 5.1 system does not provide a satisfactory sound :/. |
