okay so I'm having a lot of problems with food in the game my character is always at the top of the hunger bar and food is too expensive for me to buy now. Can anyone help me out with what they have been doing to get by this problrm.

You can get some free bread and milk at the foundation of the memorial to the Crimson Mistress, which is located near the Horns (that's where the Kains live). The problem is, that the food doesn't respawn and you'll only be able to use it once.

Do you mean Catherina Saburova? Her phrase "I need morphine" just reminds you that she is a morphine addict (if you missed this fact).
