Hi guys, i'm playing Haruspicus and i'm on Day 3 at the moment, I need to create the Panacea & Also Find out who that brand belongs to...

2 Small problems...I looked on my diary and it says to speak to Maria Kain about that Brand and there is no option about it on speech when i speak to her...Also, i can't seem to find a Scalpel anywhere, i've checked with Gryph (who had one at the beginning of Day 1, but it cost too much) and he doesn't have one anymore...

I am only guessing that when i check a dead body and get the body parts, the other greyed out squares with a picture of a Scalpel on it means i need one to get the rest of his organs...Is that right? I just downloaded the game guide, so i'll check that out to see if i did anything wrong, but a quick reply would be much appreciated,

Thanks

The haruspicus is like a Philipinesse surgeon - doesn't need a scalpel to extract organs. ) So, I don't think you'll need it. Also the panacea can only be created on the 6-th day, if I am not mistaken. )

Ahh right...6th day huh, Okay well i won't worry about that too much then....I am checkin out the guide right now, and LxR i gotta say, you are a great moderator, fast at replying, so thanks for that,

I should be able to work out the rest on my own. I hate having to read game guides, but sometimes you get inevitably stuck because of your own stupidity. I only wanna backtrack myself. It's just that your eyes tend to stray into the next parts and you either read them conciously or subconciously, (damn my peripheral vision!)

Anyways Thanks alot..

Hey, thanks. ^__^

In our case it might also be the unmonolithe nature of the translation - too many people worked on it, and in the end it became like a fruit salad. )

You can safely check some small tables at the sides of the manual - they usually contain useful non-spoiler info and general advice. BTW, I would appreciate it, if you'd tell your opinion on the quality of the guide translation. )

Well i certainly will leave feedback for the guides creator when i'm done, it's no problem....

There is however, one problem, i have to download a trial of microsoft office to view the document, as i have never had a need for it, something that would be nice is a .txt version of the guide, 'cause Wordpad won't open it due to some Graphics conversion filter, and it won't load.

Either way, i'll get a look in there sooner or later, Well 10 minutes to be precise..

EDIT: Actually Cancel that...i can get Word Viewer instead, it's free...!

That would be me - I'm the last surviving translator. ))

You can also try www.openoffice.org - it's even better! it supports equivalent editing for free!

I know this is probably going off-topic, for this i am sorry,

But It's ok i got Word viewer 2003 from microsoft, the guide is working okay now ,

As for PDF's don't worry about that....and i'll leave feedback for it on the appropriate forum post pretty soon, from what i can see you are a very good translator, Russian is a tricky language, my friend from Bulgaria taught me some a while back and it is hard to get your head around it at first.

Anyway Thanks again for everything, i will be sure to be back real soon.

You're welcome! Plus it's okay to get a little offtopic - there aren't many of us here yet. )
