Hi all, I'm new to these forums and to Pathologic. The game is a little rough around the edges but I'm loving it for how original it manages to be. I'm posting in the Troubleshooting section for a reason though, and that's because I'm having a problem with the food in game. Now I'm not sure if it's a bug or if the capability for individual items of food to satisfy my character's hunger is intentionally low, but I think that if I keep on playing I'm going to run out of money and starve to death. Has anyone had a similar issue? Is there any way to stop being so hungry/get a full stomach more easily?

The food in the game is intentionally the way it is, the nutritional values arent all that high, this might help you, taken from the manual...

Crackers = 2% Hunger Reduction
Dried Fish = 7%
Eggs = 12%
Dried meat = 17%
Smoked meat = 17%
Fresh Meat = 25%
Fresh fish = 25%

The manual doesn't state about the other foods, but i know that Lemons & Milk are pretty good for hunger aswell.

A word of advice would be to make as much money on day 1 as you can, because if you are worried about starving to death now, wait until day 2 when the prices pretty much Tripled, take a look at some of the other posts on the best way to make money. As far as i know, there is no way to stop your hunger increasing, or even slow the process...That's just the way it goes i'm afraid.

Lxr - you mentioned that there was some free food left at the foundation of a memorial near the Kains' houses.. I've had a long wander around The Horns and can't find it anywhere. I looked on the map and the major landmarks seem to be that huge structure made from it's own blueprints, the church and the graveyard.. am I looking in the right place?
