1. Is there any story behind the 'face in the Cathedral'? It's a drawing of a face in agony/terror, on one of the walls. You can see it if you go up to the top floor of the Cathedral, then turn to face the entrance. It's on the wall directly in front of you. I had to turn up the brightness on my monitor, to see it though.
I don't think, I can answer this one right away... Though, I believe that there was supposed to be a story in the game about the face, which then was omited. The Cathedral is cursed, anyways...

2. I read somewhere that you can kill the street children in the Russian version of Pathologic. Is this true? Are there any other things that were cut/changed in the international releases?
In the Russian version of the game children indeed can be killed, except for the little boy and girl for obvious reasons. We had to make teens invulnerable in the European version since there's a rating system, which doesn't allow it. (I heard, that in UK Fallout also had no children in it.) If you've played the Haruspex scenario, you night remember Lickah the traitor - in the original, he's a kid, not a midget. Also the teens act differently in teh original - they fight the main character, if he's hostile, instead of fleeing.
Then there are the text cuts... The English version only has 2/3 of the Russian texts.
That's all I can remember, I guess.
