I purchased this game on Gamersgate after reading the RockPaperShotgun series of articles, and it exceeds all of my expectations. Last night I finally hit day 3 and had to venture into the infected areas. That was bad enough, but when I went inside a house, I literally stopped breathing, turned my character around, and left right away. It took me a while to get up the nerve to go back in.

Kudos on putting together the most atmospheric game I have ever played!

My question, though is I've edited the settings file to not run in fullscreen mode, that way I can have the map with the twyre locations on one side of my screen while I wander around. The problem comes in mainly with combat- the mouse cursor will scroll off of the game screen and when I try to shoot or stab, I'll be somewhere else on my desktop, and nothing will happen. I have to run around until I can get the cursor back in the Pathologic window and then try to keep it steady while I finish the fight.

Is there a way to prevent the mouse cursor from breaking out of the game window?

Thanks!

I'm glad you liked tha game and I hope you won't be dissapointed. :) Thanks!

As for the mouse cursor - I'm afraid it's a system function, which we are unable to alter. :(

Thanks for the quick response! It's alright, I'll just switch to fullscreen and alt+tab if I need to check the twyre map.

I'm actually getting pretty good at spotting the little buggers without even checking the map!

There is no way that this game will disappoint, it has only gotten better with each day so far. I've been talking about it to everyone around me, my wife, my co-workers, people that don't really care about games. This is one of those rare titles that bridges the gap between art and gaming. Well done!
