I mean, sure, we all know they are characters in the game, but I was actually refering to the pictures that represent these caharacters.

I don't know but to me they look like actors (film or stage actors?) or maybe models. Or are they just random people that the game company invited over for a photo shoot?

Gawd, it's really nagging me, I'd love to know! :P

Good question!

Most of the photos ingame are shot from theater actors - www.tample.ru
But some - are photos of the studio workers.
Haruspex is in fact the man behind all the texts ingame - Nikolay Dybowskiy. The soldiers were modelled (poorly) based on Airat Zakirov, one of the main coders. General Block is Peter Potapov. :)

Oh hell, I almost died laughing... :)
I first misread that Haruspex is an American truck driver, immediately though of Silent Hill and him hittig a young Odong girl, then going into the City to investigate... :-D
