I finally got myself a copy of the original game, installed (installed DirectX9c and AGEIA PhysX from the disc), applied the 1.01 path (is the version right?) and installed the "protection drivers" whatever those are. No matter what I do I keep getting this message. I tried following every advice I could get here, but there's really not that much at my disposal; additionally I can't seem to find where the logs are supposed to be :oops:

Any help any of you fine gentlemen can provide me with will be very much appreciated.

something in your pc must be wrong... like your graphic card... what model is it?

you can try runing the game with 3DAnalizer, ticking on "emulate HW TnL Caps" and "emulate other DX8.1 caps" i get your same error without this program... but i can run it now... a little beat slow but runing anyway-...

Thanks for the idea, but no luck :(
Maybe I'm doing something wrong... I dunno
I'm running a 3GHz AMD Phenom 945 X4 with 4Gb of RAM and an NVidia GeForce GTS 250 with 512 GRAM, this box runs The Void just fine with maxed out settings.

Any other thoughts? :oops:

then try reinstaling Direct X from the disc... or the whole game... cuz the library that can't be loaded must be the direct x library

I don't mean to sound rude, it's just that I already tried everything suggested at the forums... which is basically reinstalling things (the game, DirectX, PhysX) from the disc and/or turning the settings down a notch (that's why they're actually at their lowest possible values).
I'm gonna try to install it on a friend's computer (is that allowed by the license? :oops:) and see if I get the same error.

Thanks for your comments though GeD89!!! keep them comin' if you have them :D

Does the game create an error log or exception.txt?
(Look in My Documents > My Games > Тургор)

No, there's no folder named "Тургор" at all :?.

Is there any other place to look for logs?

Well, you can try a folder named the Void - but I'm sure you did that. ;)

Can you PM me with your DxDiag? (Start -> Run -> Dxdiag -> Save All Info)
