When I start up The Void, the start menu (right after the intro) doesn't appear. There aren't even boxes where the symbols should be, and my cursor doesn't show up either. It's just the background. I've juggled the graphics settings, but none of the configurations that allow the game to start up make a difference. It looks lovely so far, but it'd probably be even better if I could get to the actual game!
I'm using the Steam version. Computer is running Windows 7 in 64 bit. Video card: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570. Any words of advice?
EDIT: Could this issue be caused by the same glitch with ATI video cards that causes colored veins to not show up? I read the answer to that in the FAQ ("This is a known issue with ATI cards. If you disable antialiasing, the colored areas will show up. NOTE: This has NOT been fixed for the English release.") as meaning that it was an issue only found in the English version that could be fixed by turning off antialiasing, but now it occurs to me that it meant the English version is the only version in which it
can't be fixed.
Is there still no patch for that?
