Hi there! it's been quite some time.
I was just wondering... is there any way to change the FOV ingame? like some console command or something?
I'm guessing there isn't, since the "no headbobbing" mod used a ".bin" file (how does one go about opening one of those by the way?) to both reduce headbobbing and change FOV.
Now, is there any chance anyone could upload a simple "FOV changing" mod? Ideally this would provide a console command, but since I'm guessing that that could be pretty hard, I think that either a set of different files for different FOVs (ie. FOV-90.zip, FOV-95.zip, FOV-100.zip, etc.) or a single file with a particularly weird FOV (FOV-666.zip) could do (the last one so that one could hex-edit the bin and replace "666" by whatever FOV one wants; I'm guessing that hex-editing a bin file doesn't render it useless :P).
OK, so that's all for now.

Regards.

Nope :| . I edited a script to change FOV. Certainly, it is possible to add a console command for FOV, but as far as I remember, it would require a change in world.sc, and changes in this file usually affect savegames, i.e. old saves won't work anymore.

Hmmm... I see...
I was planning on starting from scratch (ie. remove my savegames, they're getting pretty messy) anyway, so that wouldn't be a problem (at least for me, I'm sure this is not a viable solution for many others).
Is there any way I could get my hands on a "world.sc" file? where (and how :P) can I get mine? are there any other "*.sc" files worth looking at? changing ANY of them renders my savegames incompatible? any chances you could post the one you modified (pretty please)?

I realize those are many questions... maybe we should get a "The Void modding FAQ/SDK" sort of thing going, if the IPL devs feel like letting go of some documentation I'd be more than happy to get things going from there (/me winks twice at IPL devs).

Regards, and thanks for answering ;)

Actually this would be really useful to know for later play-throughs. The default camera is a little claustrophobic (which works great setting the mood) but on further runs it might be nice to open it up a bit.
