Hey everyone,

I'm really enjoying The Void, but have got to a point pretty early on (around cycle 10) where I'm having a lot of trouble. Mantis has told me to take a heart back from the nameless sister, so I went to her and she voluntarily gave it back. I carried on playing the game and came to a point where Mantis declares that I'm unworthy etc and I instantly go in to a fight with him, which I can't possibly win.

Why is he fighting me when I've done what he asked? Is this a bug or is there a way to beat him that I'm not seeing?

- Mantid tells you to get the colour from the mines. He gives you a heart opening the symbol that blows up the rock. As for what to do next, he leaves that to you, because the Brothers don't know that.
- It is Whaler who tells you to tear the heart out of Nameless Sister.

Also, even though a fight begins, it's impossible to win at this stage - it's sort of a dramatic element (which failed horribly )

So he's fighting me because I didn't do the mine things? I thought I did, but I'll go and check.

I just went in to the game and checked; my journal shows an X next to both tasks which are to visit the mine and then ask the sisters how to deal with it. I have been to both Bastion and Pharynx and mined the color from there.

Am I missing something?

So, you opened all 6 veins, then shot a harpoon in each vein and collected all the colour one cycle later, right?

Oh no, I just realised I missed one of the deposits in the Bastion mine! It was a bit hard to see, though I might just be being thick.

I'll see if this works out.
