I have the same query so I am afraid I can't help you, but at least this way someone might get back to us.
I imagine if you know someone with the other version, you can compare files and look at the game's config file. Or worst-case scenario, you could open a torrent to see what files it contains, having already purchased the game, as indeed you have (German edition).
I would like to have a German version so as to practice and learn German, but it will almost certainly be difficult going. In which case, it would be good to revert to English, such as I can do in games like S.T.A.L.K.E.R. (with a much bigger userbase).
I read on this thread (
viewtopic.php?f=28&t=9043) that the dialogue is quite different so matching subtitles will not be available. I would also like to know if it is possible to switch the localisation packs. Perhaps the English version is a multi-installer?
