I downloaded this off steam and I'm getting under 1 fps and graphics errors. Ive tried different catalyst drivers, different graphics settings(resolutions / shadows /aa & af on&off / etc etc) and nothing changes it.

After I collect the heart and go into the tree(which takes ages at 0.5fps) at the start the cutscene explaining color plays perfectly but then it goes back to this place and the fps drops again.

I'm using Win7 64bit and an Ati 4850

Huh. I was hoping The LxR or Halfgild Wynac would have answered by now, since they'd be more likely to know for certain.

The only graphics issues I know of are occasional jerking due to generating shaders on the fly (Fix available here), and certain textures not appearing on certain ATI graphics cards, which can be fixed by disabling anti-aliasing.

Yours doesn't look like either of them, but it might be related to the anti-aliasing glitch, so it is worth a shot.

Oh, I see you already tried turning off anti-aliasing. Well, crap.

From what you've said, I have absolutely no idea, what this may be caused by.
Please send me your DxDiag (Start -> Run -> DxDiag -> Save all info) via PM or e-mail.
And see if you have any forced settings enabled in the drivers for 3D.

Sorry, but we couldn't find what the problem was. It may be something software specific - like an antivirus hogging all the resources, but I'm pretty sure you've checked all that.
