Alright, I can fire up the game normally, and without error. It shows the game developers, and then the "The Void" title screen before going into the first intro movie/poem. Once the movie is done, however, it goes to the menu screen, but without the glyphs.

It should look like that, however, my game looks like that without any of the menu buttons. Just the eerie background and music. I have no idea what to do to fix this. Should I attempt reinstalling? (I don't want to do it just on a whim though, since I'm connected to the internet wirelessly(sp) and I'd rather not take 5 hours to install the game again) Any advice is helpful.

Nevermind, Steam updated my game earlier today while I was busy doing other things around the house. It works fine now. Not sure what was up, but as long as I can play, I'm happy.
