I have a couple of questions please, (would appreciate if spoilers were kept to a minimum). I have killed all but one of the brothers and I'm on about cycle 27 btw.

1. How do I keep the colours in the void balanced? I've tried drawing glyphs in a particular colour to increase its number on the void status screen but I'm not really sure it's helping. Is it related to plants? The number doesn't seem to correspond very closely to the graphic also, but I guess it's the number that's important right?

2. How important is it to keep the colours in balance, if they are not equal after a particular cycle does that mean I cannot get certain endings?

In two words - don't worry about it, collect as much color as possible for now - you'll need a full palette and body at the very end.
