So I was listening to the song Poete Electronique by Bardo State, and some of the chord progression and instrument usage reminded me heavily of the composition of some of The Void's more melodic songs. You can check it out here: http://www.bardostate.com/music.html

Particularly the later half of the song. I'd love to make a trailer for the game with this song in the background, just to show it off to friends. God I love this game, and I'm too excited for IPL's third (and fourth?) title(s).

For the void specifically, no discussion of fitting songs can be complete without mention of Sabrina, by Einstuerzende Neubauten, which fits not only in sound, but also in lyric.
"It's not the red of the dying sun" "It's not as golden as memory" "I wish this would be your colour", etc.

Looking at the topic title, 'Elixir' by Martin Grech came to mind. It's a long track but with few lyrics. It's atmosphere is very akin to the Void.
