I'm trying to play, but when I launch, I just get a screen without the main menu. (I'm assuming it should be the main menu screen, it's got a bunch of objects bouncing around and some music playing, but no cursor, nothing to click or select, etc etc). Anyone else have this problem or resolve it successfully?

Also, any way to enable a windowed mode?

Edit: Looks like I got a bad download. Verifying cache integrity on steam fixed the problem. Still looking for a way to do windowed mode though.

Windowed mode is done the same as in The Void: find config.xml inside \Steam\SteamApps\common\cargo!\data and comment <Fullscreen /> out of it. You may delete the line or you can change it into something like <FullscreenAJSNBDAN />. That doesn't matter as long as the game cannot find <Fullscreen /> in this file.

Is there a way to get unlimited parts in sandbox? I tried building a wacky truck but ran out of parts! :(

Also, here's an idea for DLC (I personally am not a big fan of DLC but gamers nowadays seem to have accepted it and it'd help divulging the game/keeping it fresh): NEW parts pack! The vehicle builder has lots of potential, you could add even more parts to allow more varied and distinct vehicles

Now, that sounds interesting, but the lists in the shop and building windows already look pretty overloaded with icons for different types of parts. I, personally, do not like how it ended up being so confusing, and adding even MORE parts will only make it worse.

It wouldn't be so confusing if the parts were divided by category. Categories could be something like: engines, land propulsion, sea propulsion, air propulsion, weight/flotation, and connectors. Then you could put small icons for each category above the shop interface, sort of like in the shops in most RPG, where you can choose between weapons, armor, accessories, spells, etc...
A small patch to spruce up the shop interface beforehand would let you guys make a whole bunch of parts packs without causing confusion from icon overload.

I'm stuck, how to I start the volcanoes? I already brought buddies to the pipe piano and played it. 2 of the pipes are broken for some reason and buddies are still jumping on the giant drum. I brought some buddies to the "vuvuzela dance", they just walk around and don't go into the boiler, though I'm not even sure they are SUPPOSED to at this point. I'm completely lost

You need to tune the organ by doing the mini game, I had 19 buddies with me when I did it but that was overkill.
You gotta press enter in the vuvuzela room to get them to dance.

I'm going to buy this on Steam at the weekend when all of my work is out of the way. Is this going to get a physical release in the UK? I'd really like to have it on my shelf alongside Pathologic and The Void.

Yakjazz: It's being released in the UK by Lace Mamba (who published The Void).

I have written a review on PCGames.de (German).
It is MY opinion, not the official review of PCGames magazine.

Hi guys. Since this seems to be the thread for reviews, here's one we ran at IncGamers: http://www.incgamers.com/Reviews/1176/cargo-review

Pretty great game :D

Thanks Peter! Added your review to the list.

Also: Cargo can now be purchased from GamersGate. Same price as Steam.
Awaiting confirmation on whether it really contains SecuROM or not. It's supposed to be unprotected so that might just be a mistake in the listing.
