Hello,

I`m only at the end of Day 3 for the Bachelor (relishing it, I am). It naturally has occurred to me, several minor ways the game good be tweaked to my tastes. Unfortunately, aside from swapping a few objects and tweaking prices I`ve had little luck sorting through the *.vfs files.

Some examples of what could be done:
- increasing the transparency of the `dust clouds` in infected areas
- lowering the number of cut-throats during the first few days
- removing the invisible barriers from the steppes (so you can really get lost)
- have the three main families offer the Bachelor a snack every day...
- modifying the infection bar so that, if you have a low level infection, you don`t know it (keeping the player guessing).
- lowering the rate of fire of the standard pistol (simulating incompetence) in order to make the player less gung-hoe
- creating a mod for the demo that removes the diseased areas, cut throats, dialogues and time limit (a prequel to pathologic always seemed possible, eg. involving Nina Kain - in this case the plot would just be -nothing happens-)

LxR, do you think it might be possible to get some advice on how to tackle the *.vfs files after Tension/Turgor is released?

S!

I don't think so - the engine was HEAVILY modified for Tension - a lot has been significantly improved and changed, so... On the other hand, it'll be quite easy to write mode for Tension.
