Hi there! I'm new here, so first of all, I want to congratulate to all creators of this game etc. etc. Great job guys, that's probably one of the best plots in the history of computer games!

So far, I was able to go through the game without much troubles, but now I'm stuck on day 5 with Bachelor, and even the Walkthrough couldn't help me.

Here's the problem: On day 5, I have to get Haruspicus out of the jail. There is no diplomatic way to do it, and I don't really want to lose 100% reputation just like that. In the Walkthrough, there is written, that you can make the deal with Gryph about taking care of the guards. But i don't have that dialog option -_- I can only trade, or leave. Did I forgot to talk with somebody? I have talked to Rubin, Older Vlad, Saburov, his wife, Kapella, Lara and guards near his cell, and still I can't make the deal with Gryph.

Did someone had similar problem and solved it? I would be very grateful for help!

Hi Yossarian,
Welcome to the forums and glad to hear you're enjoying the game so far :)

Talk to the guards at the cell, and try all the different dialogue options. One of them should make the 'talk to Gryph' objective appear on your map.

Good luck - Hope this helps!

Hmm... that means, that I screwed it up... BIG time, because I don't have now dialog options with the guards (2 options, both leads to ending conversation). And what is more, I saved the game after it... damn. That's what I get from saving the game too often, and on one slot only -_-

Ok. Never mind... I will start from the beginning again. Last time I screwed up some side quests, and managed to infect myself on day 4, so this time it might be better

Not any single game beat me in the past, and there is no way to change it. I WILL beat this game... 3 times at least...

Anyway thanks for help!

Or, you could just kill the guards and lose your reputation. You can get it back easily enough by giving medicine to sick people who are lying on the ground.

Also, I really recommend using multiple save slots for Pathologic!

a golden tip:

save often, save in different slots, save at the beggining of each day.

I think that one or two saves per day are enough to make your way without major problems. It is, say it... beneficial to save more, but these scary hundreds of saved games really make it hard to find the one you need.
Probably, it is where console save command may come in handy  .
