Nintendo and English just don't stack. I'm still wondering how FE series made it to the U.S. in english.

So. . . September 25 eh? (Not that I'm breaking the news, it's from a press release linked to by Throdax).

Time to celebrate. I thought I'd never get to see a copy!

it's too early to celebrate, I remember the Russian release was delayed 3 times.

Awesome! The play.com listing also seems to clear up an important point - The Ice-Pick Lodge logo is there on the front cover :)

Aww crap!! Nobody ships to the US! I really want a boxed version. Any other options???

Presumably, you'll be able to buy direct from Mamba's online games portal when it opens in September. Failing that, something can always be worked out, even if it means PayPal-ing me some money, and I'll send you a copy :)

I wouldn't get upset so early — in the end they might actually ship it to us. Who knows? )

/preaching and new spreading mode engaged.

I'm curious, is this the same type of deal IPL had with Atari (one time payment for the IP, assuming Atari sold the rights to Mamba) or a new deal that will bring IPL revenue?

You should encourage Rock, Paper, Shotgun to give the game's release some coverage. I had trouble emailing their suggestion address, but maybe you'll have better luck :|

A person from RPS has already contacted us, but his e-mail seems to be down, or something. I guess we'll write to Quintin if the other guy doesn't respond soon. )

RPS has this one under a watchfull eye for a long time, I doubt they'll skip the review and launch date ;)

So any word on whether this English version will have Russian audio and English subs? If not, will Ice-pick lodge make an audio patch available? It'd probably be a huge file, but you could take most of the burden off your servers by using torrents. September 25th....so....far...away aRGH!! I think the last time I was this excited about a game's release was Soul Calibur 2.

The English version will be all English, but I think we can arranger an audio patch, when it's out.

Don't make me come over there to get it, cuz I will. The Russian voices sound so haunting. I haven't heard the English to judge, but like I've said before the Russian voices really add to the mood.

What about the bug-fix patch I've heard about? Has it been released? What kind of things does it fix/plan to fix?

As a sidenote, I really appreicate the devs talking to us Average Joes like this. I think this is the first time that I've been both ridiculously excited about a game AND got a chance to shoot the breeze with the game's developers. You all rock! Now if you could use your industry connections and set up a lunch between me, Carmack, and Tim Schafer you would even be cooler

£17.73 - now this sounds cheap)

It seems Atari doesn't have much faith in "Void" placing it half a tier above a mediocre indie game. I hope it sells well.
