I'm using Open Office. It opens the Quest list no problem, but not the walkthrough. That one gives me an error. Any suggestions? |

I honestly don't know what the problem is, but I will soon post a PDF version (as soon as I get my Acrobat 7.0 Pro to work correctly...) |

What i did was downloaded Word Document Viewer from microsoft, it worked for me, but i didn't even have office installed before. Heres the link: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/deta ... laylang=en It probably won't fix your documentation software, but it's a sure fire way of reading .doc's without Office installed. |

I decided to download the file again. This time I chose 'run' instead of 'save' and it opened perfectly in Open Office, pics and all -- no idea why I did that or why it worked. I may download Word Document Viewer anyway as I'm curious to see if it will open the 'saved' copy of the document. I don't like to run unscanned files on my pc if I don't have to do that. Thank you for the suggestion. |
