Only until the end of tomorrow (23rd August 2009), though. You can buy it from Direct2Drive for the low price of £4.50 (or less, if you purchase in dollars, I think). It's part of the 70% discount on Meridian4 titles - which includes some other bargains, like Hard Truck: Apocalypse for £2.95! |

That's really surprising, based on how much you like Tension! But I'm glad you have it now. I'm sure you'll appreciate it Btw, Throdax, how did you discover Tension? I just assumed you knew about it because of Pathologic. |

Pathalogic is much deeper (at least it was a much deeper experience for me) but it's much more text (and translation) dependant. Too bad I wasn't there when the translation was made. |

True, and so far in the middle of day 1 I'm loving it. I like text dependant games as I like to read (Planescape Torment is my favourite game ever, after all). |

Now, I don't want to be rude, but we've done shitloads of fixing iterations on your few parts of Tension texts Quote: No and I never played it Thordax, I envy you, honestly. |

2 The LxR 1. Quote: iterations are always easier to do when you have a decent footage to work with. + I haven't seen what you've "itirated" so far, so I can't even defend my effort (if any defence is needed).2. You took my claim from the oddest possible end. I actually meant I wasn't there (in the team), not I I wasn't there (to save the day). So suspend your hostility, will you 2 Throdax Planescape has influenced me greatly and took a place in my heart and on my left shoulder as a tatoo forever. However Pathologic is more close to Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines to me. Have you played it? |

You'll check it out in the English release soon. ) We've redone the Ironclad parts from ground zero, the poems have been altered heavily, but the mantras went into the game almost with no modifications. No defense is needed, just noting that it's not as simple as just translating the text, that's just 25% of the job. -__-Quote: 2. You took my claim from the oddest possible end. @bratt_n I played it, but I can't remember much from it, meaning it didn't leave a lasting impression in me, which isn't saying the game is bad, since I enjoyed it, it just didn't leave a mark the same way, Torment and Tension (and Pathologic most certainly will). Few games have made me care for the main character or other character for that matter and curiously enough the only games that did, did not allow character customization and always played the role of a fixed character though up by the developers. Which isn't opposed to the game being fun, but when you start caring for a character and you cry when something happens to it, you know the devs made their job well. |

I checked to see if Steam has finally decided to add the game (since they have Meridian4 games on there) and they did not. |

Can't US customers buy it from GamersGate? I'm a big fan of their site, as there is no client, no online registration - You just download the same files as you would get on a CD. Also, a lot of their games are DRM-free (Not sure about Pathologic, though). Welcome to the forums, btw! |

Quote: I imported my copy but would also gladly buy another version as long as Ice-Pick makes money off it.
Well, Ice-Pick Lodge sadly won't make any money from these sales, so I wouldn't bother buying it again if you already own it Quote: I've been a long time lurker and finally decided that I need to actually join in the fun around here. It's certainly a pleasure to meet you all!
Nice to meet you too! The forums are very friendly, but also rather quiet. Hopefully they'll become more lively after The Void's English-language release |
