I'm going through the dialogues and "messages" for Day 1 of the Bachelor, and I need some help from the Russian-speaking participants. I'll try to keep my questions as simple as possible.

"'Надеюсь, ты ни в чем не испытал недостатка... Я ведь очень рада тебе... Даниил, да?" What is Eve asking here?

"Если он действительно сумел прожить столько лет - ткани этого Каина помогут мне одержать победу над смертью." - The word "ткани" is translated as "fibres" - does this mean bodily/organic tissue?
