Post subject:  Ima Problems
Hello, guys! I've been doing quite well in the game. But I'm having problems with Ima. When I first entered Ima's Tower, all I could see were those millions of stairs. I climbed them for like 26 mins and there was no sign of Ima. One time I came to the red room, but she wasn't there either. And all of a sudden that bat like thing appeared. Once I killed them, more were appearing. So I jumped back to The Void. Someone please tell me where can I find Ima in her mind-boggling tower?? And please tell me soon, the other sisters are telling me to hurry and meet Ole which I can't do unless I fill two of Ima's hearts, which I can't do unless I find her.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. :) :D

You should be able to just go straight *down* the stairs and, after a minute or so of walking, find her in the room on your left with the swinging blade.

Oh and how do I get the 'extract' heart? For the mine quest. :?

Edit: Um..I don't remember why did I ask that...I have the extract glyph..maybe my bride, Ole went inside me and forced me to post that? LOL! I finished the mine quest. I found Ima. I filled two of her hearts. :lol: :lol:

Also note that if you go *up* the stairs in Ima's tower, there should be a heart at the top.

I couldn't get the heart..there were so many predators in her tower! By the way, which heart is it?

It's randomly generated, so it could be any number of them. I discuss this in the appendix section of my walkthrough, if you want more info:

In your guide I didn't really get what a 'gnat' is. Could you describe it more precisely?

There's a whole section dedicated to information about enemies. Here's the info about a gnat:

This revolting little flying insects imitate Colour plants. When you go to
harvest one they spring out and attack, hovering at head-level. They're
relentless in their assault and you'll want to dispatch them as quickly as
possible.

The only way to determine if a plant is actually a Gnat is, before entering a
chamber, mouse over it to see what Colours are inside. If you find a plant of a
Colour that wasn't shown, it'll be a Gnat. You can also exit and then re-enter
the chamber to see if the plant is still there. If it is, its real. You won't
have to worry about these until quite late in the game.

They can imitate any colour plant anywhere (though I found them more common the further north in The Void you go). However, like that bit of info states, a realm has to have taken significant damage and at least 14 cycles must have passed for them to appear.

Why is Ima kept chained on a cross? Do the brothers hate her more than any other sister?
Is Ima pronounced I-mah or E-mah?

Each Sister is under the jurisdiction of their own Brother. So, for example, Mantid (who is Uta's brother), has no say about how Pit should deal with Ole (outside of the commandments, anyway). In that sense, it's only Ima's Brother (I forget who it is) that could put her in that position. Again, probably up to you how to interpret her predicament.

An interesting point about the axe, though, is that it only drops closer to killing her when you open her hearts. You could, theoretically, see it as you (the player) that's making the situation worse and riskier for her.

As for pronunciation, I personally say I-mah, but I have no idea what is correct.
