Okay boys, girls, im in a baaaaad mood.

And btw, if you dont like spoilers, you better go away.

How can i engage these blackhearted freaks in combat?

The situation is as follows.

"Day" (?) 32

Im full. Im really full. One more day and im sending my sweetheart up, you know what I mean?
But here is what bothers me. I have what I need, but there is Patriarch (name in german version) who is on his way to "question" my lady. I have about 15 seconds to get there, and i can be there before him if I want.

Like I said, I'm ready and armed, bad-tempered and will not let him touch her. If it goes my way.

But how can I prevent him from reaching her? How can I initiate the fight?

When he reaches her (and she cries, omg, she really suffers pain, I can hear it), I click him and he tells me to stay calm, think about the meaning of live an so on, then I will find the truth and whatsoever.
Then, when he finally shuts up, im there, facing him. he looks in another direction and all i have are my colours, my anger and the "Back"-Button.

Same when I enter his "Adit" (right term? I mean his cave, his house, whatever), i click it, he tells me about the meaning and to listen to the prophecy, etc... But I see no way to start a fight.

Talking to him? No fight!
Entering his area? No fight!
Waiting for him at the mistresses place? No fight!

Smoking my "Frustrating-isnt-it-Looser?"-Cigarette - no fight.

Another mistress (Aya i think) told me to kill her masters guardian if she should be next one to die, and now i want to save not Ayas Master (i guess its the other wandering mistress?) but my chosen beauty, and the game won't let me.

Dear poeple - what am I missing?

Plz make me happy.

Patriarch is one of the easiest guardians, you should have no problem.
It's cycle 31 now and I have already killed them all (well, except the wheel dude, he does not seem to have a chamber and the witch hunt is over, so I can't challenge him). :mrgreen:

I think you get it by default from the first guardian you kill (at least I got it every time after I killed Vormund, the cage guardian, which was always the first to die).
You say you are in cycle 32, surely you have killed at least one so far?

yes right, but strangely I cant open it. But i guess I can find it somewhere in the internet. ;)

On top of that I dont think I have it. The Donor-Glyph for example is seen on the bottom when I talk to a mistress. And when I got the vampyre-glyph from Aya, this one was shown too. But when I talk to a guardian, there is no glyph shown on the bottom and it would be if I had it right?

I got nothing for chasing that roof angel. Could it be there? Or the heart in the mine of... names... the smith?
She looks kind of domina style with this "tool" next to her and the pretty necklace. :P
In the mine of hers there is a heart way up in the wall, but i cant reach it. I figured out that it would work with magnet, but I havent got it yet in this play-through-attempt. :?

Well i got Ordalia from the cage guardian every time so far. Could be a coincidence though.
You are right about the heart in the mine, you need the magnet glyph to get it.

Do you already have the heart from Ire's obscura?

If there is a heart left you can collect, you could try to save the game beforehand and reload until you get the glyph you want.

When you know that there is one, its easy to find. But you dont. :mrgreen:

How many glyphs are there anyway? Has every mistresses obscura one?

Forget the question. I can count them from the picture you showed me. :)

Reload until you get it if you don't consider this cheating.
There are 21 glyphs, from the 21 hearts you can carry. Potentially there are more than 21 hearts in the game because every brother has one.
Some hearts can be found in the chambers and every killed guardian drops a heart, too.

The obscura-hearts i can remember:
Una -> on the second level.
Ire -> behind a hedge.
Ima -> on the top of the tower, where the stairs end.

Which glyph you get is completely random, with some exceptions (for example you always get the net glyph from the same heart).

The ordalia glyph also works if you dont even have it! :mrgreen:

So as long as you know - you can.Patriarch and "Bohrer" (Driller?) are dead by now. But i gotta sleep. And then i start from new, as I cant kill the third one - Ironclad - afterwards anymore. :? 8)

I love this game.

Seriously, I start to think if this could be my new "Number one of all time", degrading "Ocarina of time" to second place. :)

Yeah, Ironclad has way too much hitpoints. It's easy to avoid his bullets, but he takes unholy amounts of color to bring down.
