...and already screwed myself. Trying to keep my nerva high and hearts filled, I now don't have enough lympha to last until the next cycle ;_;

So... any cheats to get around this problem without reverting to a previous save file? (runs away from angry mob, armed with stones and pitchforks)

Yes, there are (but you need to allow console first with <Console /> in config.xml). But have you actually tried not to have all your hearts filled? The more hearts with lympha you have, the greater the speed of converion is.

Humm, I didn't know that (and I don't think it was on the manual). Anyway, I figured why I screwed myself so early, I took one extra cycle to plant the garden. Of course, by then it was too late. I reverted to an earlier save and now everything is fine and dandy. Also, let me just say this is one of the most clever gameplay mechanics I've ever seen in a game. The way color can be used and all the different ramifications of the process. Simple, yet complex at the same time. Kudos to you, Ice-Pick :D

Well, actually there is more or less constant speed of conversion lympha to nerva in each heart; e.g. if you fill five hearts instead of one, you will start losing lympha five times as fast. Also Amber lympha affects your ability called Metabolism, which makes your hearts process lympha faster.
If it is necessary, you might find information about Colours in the in-game journal useful. Not that one actually needs to know ALL this and memorize it all at once.

Ok, what do I do now? I have unlocked Nameless Sister's 2 heart and now there's 3 Brothers moving around the void? Am I supposed to fight them? If yes, how?

Post subject:  Re: So, finally got The Void (yay!)...

You can't engage them in a fight yet. That time will come... Have patience 8) For now, just watch their movements and if they're heading for one of your gardens, rush there before they gobble up all of your Colour!

Now that the Nameless Sister's second heart is open, she has opened the way to the next two Sisters. Go see them!

As for your goals: Survive. Be careful with your Colour. Find ways to get more. Feed Sisters and unlock chambers. See what happens. There will be a plot event pretty soon.

Ok, I just hanged around in the void for a while and the eldest of the brothers came to me and gave me a trial. Looks like when you've completed all your current goals, all you have to do is wait for the next thing to happen (and get some more color in the meantime), am I right?. Some more questions, I received this message from the nameless sister saying I should animate rocks on my gardens, to set traps for the brothers. I went to my garden (the first one) and there was this pointy rock above the portal. I "painted" it with color but nothing happened. Thing is, I do remember seeing something similar in a trailer. What am I doing wrong?
Also, if a brother moves to one of my gardens and I go there after, will we automatically engage in combat? Do mines count as gardens too?

-Brothers don't harvest mines
-If you get there after a brother he will not let you enter and you need the Ordalia Glyph to challenge him.
-You need to use the amount of nerva the trap tells you to activate it, in the form of 0/40 for example, you need 40 nerva. After that it should start glowing and it will be active.

Ok, So I did the trials Mantid ordered me (collected the color from the 2 mines). Now the goals say I need to go to him. Thing is, I can't. I think I need to open the heart of this sister in order for her to let me pass to the chamber where he is but I don't have enough colors she lies (emerald and silver) nor I have the means to get them (I have a few emerald trees but that's it). What should I do?

There is no need to report your "quest" completed once you are done. If you cannot get through Uta yet - OK, harvest more green, you'll need to open her anyway. You don't have to hurry only to reach Mantid.

Post subject:  Re: So, finally got The Void (yay!)...

I thought I had to because all the other brothers are moving around but Mantid is standing still. So what do I do, wait for him to come to me? Also, one of the brothers went to my garden and when I enter it he says "we'll talk about this later" and doesn't let me enter. Now I can't even gather emerald :(

Post subject:  Re: So, finally got The Void (yay!)...

A Brother won't leave the garden until ge sucks all the color he finds there (or maybe he'll leave at the end of the cycle. I don;t remember). To avoid this you can gather the color before he gets there or leave a trap if you really want to spend color.

Post subject:  Re: So, finally got The Void (yay!)...

I tried to leave a trap but I coudln't do it. I think you have to animate that big, pointy rock above the portal but in the manual it says it should appear an icon saying how much nerva it requires to be activated and I don't see any icon

EDIT: nevermind, apparently there's no trap in the first garden.

Ok, so this brother told me to kill a special half-dead, which is on the other side of the "map" and he told me I had 5 cycles. 3 already went and I very much doubt I'll make it in time. What will happen?

Post subject:  Re: So, finally got The Void (yay!)...

You'll have to fight that brother.

Post subject:  Re: So, finally got The Void (yay!)...

He will fight you then at the beginning of cycle 16. If you can hardly open Uta and then fill Una a bit, it is much more reasonable to prepare color for battle. Though, I wonder how many useful fighting glyphs do you have...

Have you managed to get to Pangolin's location, or is it that you couldn't collect enough Emerald to open Uta's heart?

Post subject:  Re: So, finally got The Void (yay!)...

ZIGS: I know it looks as though the creature is at the top of the map, but actually it's much closer - As Halfgild says, it's in one of Uta's chambers. So you should be able to reach it in time.

However, don't worry too much. Whatever happens, there will be tough battles ahead. But there are no instant 'game over' screens, unless you run out of Colour. You will probably have to fight Warden at the start of Cycle 16, so spend Cycles 14 and 15 gathering as much Colour as you can, both in your memory (which will act as your health/abilities during the fight) and in your palette (which will be your weaponry).

Well, fuck. I thought the pangolin was at the top-left chamber in the void and decided to make my way there through Ava and Eli (alerady opened Eli's first heart). But now you say he's in the of Uta's chamber? Well, I now have enough emerald I guess, should I go through Uta?

Post subject:  Re: So, finally got The Void (yay!)...

I thought Warden said "Go to the ancient reservation in Uta's domain". Try checking up the dialogue in your journal, I am completely sure of this... At least, in Russian version such words were said; I doubt it could change that much in translation. But I do remember the voice of Warden :). Given that there is disturbing music as well, it may be hard to hear what is that he is whispering (at times).

Post subject:  Re: So, finally got The Void (yay!)...

It looks like the Pangolin is at the top of the map but actually that's the location that Warden is speaking from. It's where his 'room' is.

You'll need to open all of the Sisters' chambers eventually, so you haven't wasted anything by taking a different route now. But yeah, I'd go back to Uta.

Is the Pangolin beatable by the time the third Brother's quest is due? I took the mysterious voice/getting whopped path instead.

It's best to follow the voice's instructions. )

Still haven't got the game (from brittish based strike-infused mamba games) and soon dragon age will be released! How will this go? :?

Don't know, but our female characters are way more attractive anyway. And the male cast is way more repulsive .
