Ok, so I think I'm getting a more literal interpretation of "the void" than I'm supposed to. The game starts up, I see a brief intro video, and then it cuts to moody music and nebula-like clouds, and stays there. I thought this might be an extended intro, or maybe I was supposed to try to figure out what to do next... for about 10 minutes. I tried it repeatedly with lots of different graphics settings... no luck. I've attached the most recent game.log file, which is the only log generated. PS: I'm using the Steam version of the game. EDIT: Heh, apparently I'm not allowed to attach .log files. or .txt files either. Ok, so I rebooted and tried to run the game, but Steam said there was an update to the game available and insisted on downloading it first. (This is the day after I purchased the game...) Anyway, the game works fine now, and it's every bit as fascinating and beautiful as I imagined. |
