The easiest way to explain health in this game is through the medium of crappily drawn stick figures.
1) Here we have our Void visitor, with plenty of colour on the right hand side of the screen. At the moment, he doesn't have any health because he has no colour in his heart.
2) We take 75 blobs of green from the right hand side of the screen and stick them into a heart. Our visitor now has 75 health!
This is where it gets slightly complicated
3) In a chamber, like a garden or mine, predators can hit you. In this case, our visitor has 100 health to defend against nasties.
4) While travelling on the map, colour drains from the hearts at the same time, so in this case, the visitor has lost the 25 red and 25 green at the same time while wandering around.
