I'm early in the game. I finished the first part of Mantid's mining quest (got all the color from the Nameless Sister's mine). Now I'm trying to get the color from Ava's mine and I just can't do it. The veins appear just fine (it's not the bug where they don't show up), and I got one of them harpooned and syphoned, but the other two just keep giving me a "glyph failed to draw" error. The one time I got the glyph to do anything at all I missed the target. I've successfully mined before, so I have no idea why this is giving me such a problem now. |

Are you using enough color to draw the glyphs? Try using more. Also, you need to make the glyphs pretty big. Otherwise they won't be recognized. As for targeting, that's the part I found difficult at first. * With 'expose' - you have to make sure the bottom point of the triangle is placed on the vein. * With 'extract' - make sure the center of the glyph (the 'X') is on the exposed vein. You don't have to center anything on the vein. Missiles of both symbols are affected by gravity, so just make sure you fire them aiming at a higher point than the one you want to get them to. The further the vein is, the higher you need to send them. |
