While I've been greatly enjoying playing The Void so far, I do have one complaint/question: why aren't all the voices subtitled? I'm very glad that the crucial "dialogues" with the Sisters and Brothers are subtitled (I really hate it when a game has no subtitle option whatsoever) and also logged for later review, but why don't the other voices you hear from time to time, like the voices of the Color, and the occasional words of a Sister when in the Void or even active in a chamber subtitled? It seems pretty clear that most of these words are for atmosphere and aren't crucial to plot or what-have-you, but they make me curious, and sometimes it's difficult to hear exactly what they're saying. Any chance of subtitles for those things being added in a patch at some point? |
