Hello! Last week i bought The Void on steam but i can not run the game. No error message nothing. Hope someone can help. My specs: Windows XP Pro Sp3 Geforce 260 GTX - Driver 195.62 AMD Athlon X2 64 3800+ 4GB Ram -> DxDiag attached PS: I tried it with steamsupport but nothing helped (Verify integrity, newest drivers,...)

If you are trying to play the German version from Steam. Try this post viewtopic.php?f=28&t=9296 It has some information on how to get it to work in german. (if your trying to play in german that is) Cronotorious |

That's easy. Change your game's language to English, as German doesn't work for some reason. The game will re-download then, and will run perfectly. If you want to play in German, you can still do this. Game's is stored in a folder like C:/Steam/SteamApps/USERNAME/Void . Naturally, to play in German you need to backup German sounds and texts first - and that's exactly what you are going to do. Inside \Void\data\ subfolder find Sounds.vfs and Properties.vfs. Copy them somewhere else. Then change the game's language to English and let the game download. After it's done, replace English sounds and texts with German ones. |
