Well, we have a topic like this in the Russian section, why not start one here?
Post funny stuff somehow connected to the Void!

What, no takers? Not that I can blame anyone, I'm no good at jokes either :P

But the goons over at the Something Awful forums have been making up their own prayers to colour in the Void's LP thread and some of them are quite funny.

This one had me laughing for a good minute or so:
Quote:
Plaid, cover of scotsmen's lower regions, eyesore of ancient couch covers, mixture of colours, be unpleasant to thy beholders. The stomach of my enemy, turn. My sense of fashion, corrupt. The concept of beauty, mock ceaselessly. Bright green on dark red, let clash. Fade slightly, be gazed upon and sow despair.

Came up with another one

Vodka, the contaminating flame of ethyl solutions, uppercutting aroma, throat gagging mixture, the proof of manhood. Down my esouphagus without delay run! My smomach, intestines and other guts burn! Keep the expression on my face intact! Release me of any social restraint, taboo seal break!

I should be having breakfast, but now I want vodka

All I got is the missing prayer:

Gold, Hecatomb of sorrow, Harbinger of dissent, Purveyor of wanton truths, to the will of the unbeliever be the axe that torture, come to thy lonely servant! My foe, subvert! Your servant, enhance! Those that defile your will, starve! Those that pervert of visage, engulf!

Meh.. this didn't come out as good as I would expect.

2 Throdax

I dunno, but since gold means love, wouldn't the plrayer be more mellow and mild compared to others. It should sound more like emerald prayer, IMO, and yours is more close to crimson.

Remind me... what glyph is that?

In the original version it's one of the talking glyphs - about the Void, I suppose.

Whoa, never thought I would see anything by Alphyna on this forum (not to say I would never think she would be playing Turgor...) Was very surprised to see this familiar style :)
Sorry for the offtopic :D

Why not? Who is she, anyway?

In "The Void" version it's "bait" isn't it?
I'm curious about these "talking glyphs" though... tell me more?

Nothing specials.

In Tension / Turgor, all conversation with the sisters would be initiated via glyphs. Bait was general talk, Vampire was talk about brothers, Ordalia was talk about the void.

Oh, my, i just don't know the words (and where is dictionary when i so need it? well, anyway, i'm too lazy to search for it...)
Alphyna is comics artist from St.Petersburg, publishing her works in her live journal. Nothing serious - funny scetches, and some of them are very amusing (well, i don't like everything of her works - but I very much liked the crossovers of Death Note and The Watchmen :) , and many other works. In fact, I have two her printed books (I guess if the brochure is more correct word?), and one badge :D)

That's kind of cool. Nifty to have some control over the conversation.
I mean, I'm guessing it wasn't crucial or it wouldn't have been changed, but one of my few minor disappointments in The Void is that your interactions with the Sisters boil down to (or at least SEEM to... I haven't finished the game yet, after all) poking them, giving them presents, or murdering them.

But this is totally off topic, so I should probably shut up about it.
