I'm getting ridiculous amounts of crashes while playing this game. They're completely random. Sometimes I just crash traversing the void, other times while using a glyph. This last time it crashed while using extract on a vein in the first mine. I'm also having very bad performance considering my machine's specs. I have an 8800gt, 4 gigs of ram, an intel C2D e6750, and yet when I run at 1920x1200 I get lots of lag when there are light effects onscreen (such as in the greenhouse or the first mine). I tried turning off AA and AF, but this only helps somewhat, and this shouldn't be an issue on a machine like this. I can run Oblivion maxed all the way out on here! Try disabling the messages that Steam renders in overlays, such as friends notifications and such. It looks like they crash the entire game. |

Thanks. I went ahead and upgraded my nVidia drivers while I was at it, which seems to have solved some of the problems with light effects. Stupid nVidia.
