Hey evryone, I've purchased The Void a few days ago (on Steam) and installed it today. At first, I got the "no main menu" problem, then read here on the forums to restart steam for it to actually download the patch for that (way to go, Steam). So now i had the patched version, started it, and i just got a black screen. Trying to get some reaction out of it, i clicked around a bit, and it turns out my antivirus (AVG) thought the new game.exe was a malicious program -- and apparently I had clicked the "remove file" button without seeing it (why the screen was black even though I could actually click the button is a mystery to me). Sooooo now my game.exe is gone without a trace, and Steam won't really notice that and redownload it :/ And since I don't want to re-download all 5+GB of the game (if it's not really necessary), could someone please provide me with their game.exe? Thanks in advance, HKK |

That's a lousy antivirus http://www.2shared.com/file/Tb2iOwXP/Game.html Did you try verifying the game cache on steam? Edit: There are some stupid ads on the page sometimes that confuse you that they'd be the download button but to download it look for the ''Save file to your PC: click here'' button down on the right For antivirus try http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/ or http://www.avast.com/en-eu/index |
