As far as I remember, there's a Windows emulator for the later Macs that can run DirectX games. Maybe you could try that? Also, you can install two operating systems on the same Mac, one of which can be Windows 7, the other - Mac OS.

But most Direct3D games run generally at less than half the speed they run on Windows.
Do you consider using OpenGL for your next games The LxR? OpenGL games work at full speed on Linux and Mac OS, using wine. You could even ship Linux and MacOS binaries for near-zero effort using libwine, like Google did for Picasa and GoogleEarth (and Linux needs games!
