The Void?

Meh... the tittle is good, just not for this game.. Tension or Turgor relates much more to what happens in the game (no spoilers from me ;) )

Rebalance? Does this have anything to do in part to my analysis? Not that the game was hard, just some brother fights a bit unbalanced ;)

Re-Written.... Hum... I'm afraid of that. Tension always had that David Lynch feeling to its story. I like it when not all is explained as it leave room for the imagination to wonder (see my story thread, but beware that contains spoilers) :(

[EDIT]: New Areas?? Sweet!! :D :D

Thanks also for linking to this, Chris. A nice little write-up about our beloved Pathologic :)

Can L give some comments to this "re-written story" thing? I bet we've got a misunderstanding here.

Oh. Stereotypes get win. We'll change the name first - oh noes, "Turgor" is tooo difficult to understand for poor western people -then we'll change it _again_. Why on Earth? >_<
And after all we'll decrease the gameplay difficulty, yeeeeeah...

But theese promises of new locations sound intriguing.

Sheesh, you don't even know how exactly we're changing the game. Admit it, you just want to nag about this. ;) The only change that wa forced is the name, the rest is done by the studio and as we think it's right to do. Also, you must admit that at first the game is very difficult - it just gets easier in the ned, when there's shitloads of lyma from monster kills. we're fixing this misbalance. It's going to be easier in the beginning and harder near the end.

The LxR, yep sure, it's nothing but my grumbling, so don't take it into account)

But I do not think Turgor is difficult. Even at the begining there wasn't any difficulty for me to stay alive and move ahead unlocking Sisters. Finaly I never died in the game and never lost any battle with a Brother)

I found Turgor to be difficult, but then again I like difficult games :D But LxR is right, some of the Brother battles were ridiculous hard and some piss easy.

My biggest puzzle is why the name change? It is not like Tension is a so misleading tittle.

I just want to assure you, that the studio is not selling out. ;) We'll always be doing what we fell is right to. As for the difficulty - it all depends on your gaming experience. It isn't difficult for me either, but for most of the players - it is.

It was an entirely marketing decision, as Atari though it might be a title that associates with something bad.

Hehehe

Anyway, I loved 'Tension' as a title, but I'm getting used to 'The Void.' It could've been worse: At least it's not going to be called 'Extreme Cyborg Hunter: Apocalypse'

From what I've heard of the other changes, they sound excellent.

Kinda disappointing. "The Void" isn't bad, but it isn't as good as "Tension". Tension is loaded with meaning, but tells you nothing about the game- it's got mystery and oddity, just like "Pathologic".

Could you petition to get "The Void" changed to just "Void", for existentialism's sake? ;)
