hallos, i am new here of course, but that is not the matter at hand.

today, i'd like to get your opinion on these clouds of infection that pass with much evil intent to us. Just general thoughts, observations, and please, do entrance us with your own little stories of survival and laughable moments. although most encounters i find with the enemy, tend to me swearing loudly and slapping my forehead with the palm of my hand.

Also, anyone else feel that the clouds have a face in them? or am i just following the human instinct to find familiar things in objects?

Could of sworn i was imagining it at first, but it seems more noticable everytime i run into them. Additionally, i thought i was crazy when i had this idea they were following me... but that too i feel too much confimation of upon repeated exposure. Any techniques you would care to instill upon me, to go fairly unphased by such in the houses? still, one does find that a clever dodge will work on occasion, but this one finds himself usually trapped in the narrows by the evil smoke.

and i really dont know what to make of the second cloud variety, in the mid to late game. its like an angel of death, both metaphorically and literally. that one, noticeably follows, much to my dismay.

Hi, welcome to the forums :)

If you're playing as the Bachelor Dankovsky, you can use his 'vision device' (default key: 'v'), which will show you where these dangers are lurking. You can upgrade it by using 'lenses' that you get at various points during the game.

Otherwise, listen out for the squelching sounds nearby, try to avoid them, and duck into the nearest shop or house if you're really in trouble!

And you're right - There's definitely a face in those clouds

Clouds in houses and angels of death definitely follow you) But angels of death will not touch you if you stand still

Hie! Glad that new people play this wonderful game!

Maybe you already know it, but still: household shops sell some usefull stuff, wearing which the character doesn't have to eat immune pills at all. So the houses are no problem with these clothes, just don't forget to mend them regularly.

I had a funny moment when I was in the house you have to stay in for one hour, the two plague clouds in the house got stuck in one of the rooms and didn't follow me  So I didnt even get infected and got a ton of free medicine at the end of the hour 8)

 Daniel, lucky bastard! In my Bachelor's case it was always ok at the beginning of the hour, but at some point the infection (and tiredness) just grew automatically and didn't depend of me getting into the clouds or not. Anyhow this quest is one of my absolute favourites!
