I was wondering here if you guys would fix the dual screen bug for the English release, and then the though occurred to me.

Do you guys want a bug list of the bugs I encountered while playing?

Post it anyway, I'm sure it'll come in handy when (if) they release a patch for the English version :)

Though I'd rather wait longer and get a bug-free game

Well, we already fixed the majority of the bugs, but it'll definitely help. :) Go ahead! :)

Not that many anyway :p

Anyway:
-dual screen bug: the mouse pointer isn't bound in the game screen and so travels all the to the secundary monitor.

-filling hearts mid battle leaves unable to change colour until all the nerva and lynfa from that heart is gone.

-ole house crashes the game 80% of time.

-getting stuck inside the worm while it is alive (happened to me once)

-resurecting the sister crashes the game 100% of the time.

-graphical artifacts in yani's garden (rare)

-when a sister moves to the addit, her symbol is out of proportion and if we go to another chamber that isn't the addit i'm unable to move upon exit the chamber as all chamber turned red.

Could you describe this one in more detail, as I recall an old bug that resembles this one, though it was fixed months ago?

A more in-depth description is needed, I'm afraid, as well as the game's log, since I remember this bug too clearly. On the other hand, it was fixed in patched version. I can't even imagine how is it possible for this to exist: you couldn't resurrect her before the patch, and after the patch this problem was solved, as I thought (last moment fix, though, but it was definitely linked to a variable type error between two scripts...)

Log can be found in MyDocuments/MyGames/Tension (or whatever the game is called in your release). Also you may find exception.txt there, which is the file generated when the game crashes to desktop (sometimes you get Retry/Ignore/Cancel window just after the crash - you should press "Retry" in that case). Though, no use posting it if there's no info concerning your bug inside (for example, if the date-time inside this file refers to some last crash like 3 days ago:))

Well to the benefit of the doubt, I have the russian digital distribution version and according to my talks with LxR there were some patches that fixed bugs (don't know which ones) but it didn't work on the DD version.

-filling hearts mid battle leaves unable to change colour until all the nerva and lynfa from that heart is gone.

Scenario: I'm fighting ironclad (or any other brother) and during the fight I take huge damage, leaving me almost dead. to avoid loosing the fight, I press B to bring up the body screen and put colour from the memory to the hearts that were drained by the attack.

After wining the battle, I go back to the body screen and 2 things occur to the hearts I refield during the battle:
-If the heart has any lympha left, I can't empty it to the memory.
-If the heart is empty but has some nerva left, I can't remove the nerva

So I have to wait for all the lympha and and nerva to evaporate before putting a new colour, different than the one I refiled during battle.

If I have time this weekend I'll make a video of this bug happening,

-resurecting the sister crashes the game 100% of the time.

Two situations here:
-without the Russian hot fix supplied by LxR the game just crashed to the desktop with an error.
-with the hot fix, the game freezes and cursor starts leaving trails on screen forcing me to alt tab and close the game.

I have logs of this but they are old, so tomorrow I'll try to get you a fresh log, since I think I have a save game near the moment that happens.

Oh... I haven't played this version, so, let our programmers deal with this. Logs will be highly appreciated:).
The first bug, as far as I remember, arised in the situation when you took huge damage, as you said it. If the "nerva" was turned empty by taking damage, then the game still thought there is some nerva, so the heart was not "completely empty". Hence, the heart locked for the new color (you can't fill the heart with the other color if the nerva is still there).
It was fixed in the patch. On the other hand, there is some ambiguity concerning digital download version, as it does seem I haven't seen it... As far a I know, this release is somehow prepared for digital distribution version of usual DVD-game (nothing new, I mean). Thus it should correspond either to unpatched or patched usual game. This is exactly why the bug with the Sister causes a lot of questions. I can say, however, that the hotfix was definitely intended for use with the patched one.

Ok then, do you whant logs of the sister crash bug, or since that bug what already resolved in the Russian DVD version patch, that is no longer needed? (Assuming you are basing the english version on the DVD not on the DD version. :P )

As far as i know, the DD version was unpatched, as in version 1.00 of Tension. As so if you thing it is worth some logs or something of the DD version, just nod. :)

There is a patch for DD version here
http://www.nd.ru/users/updates/index.php?id=767826
(yeah, I was suprised myself when it hit me that such thing exists)
Download using the link where '(57 MB)' is written (it's in Russian, I know). I suppose, most bugs will disappear after this. You may even kill the Worm. With certain dexterity and luck, I would say :)
Also, just in case you are not sure, the logs here are the same story as in Pathologic - I mean, you can look for the date of the build in the first lines of it.

Great I'll try it out tonight ;)

And oh, the worm is easy to kill compared to the thing that comes out of the trees :D

I mean not the giant fish/whale that lives in the muddy water in some huge rusty tank, but the long thing that inhabits a gloomy gorge and in its power and awesomeness causes you game to crash three times of three in a row.

But do not forget that you will not be able to load your old saves after applying the patch...

There is no need for it indeed, given that you are sure now that your version is 1.0

Not sure :P I'm still at work.

I think it is from what LxR told me a while ago, but I'll check when I get home
