It's just so fitting, seems like it could've been made for the soundtrack :) What do you guys think?

Okay, I accidentally managed to delete orator's post when trying to reply - Sorry orator

The post mentioned The Fountain and Clint Mansell's excellent soundtrack.

Btw, I totally agree. Tension and The Fountain both have perfect soundtracks, and also share some ideas and themes.

By the way, is 'the fountain' any good?

The trailer reminded me a bit of "The Black Hole" (1979 film that was supposed to be for children, but has some weird progressively more disturbing plot twists followed by a strange sci-fi art/coverart hell/robot scene set inside of a black hole).

Yes, it's very good. It has the best soundtrack of any move I've seen (which kind of makes the movie twice as good because they compliment each other so well), and the movie itself is great.

It's not without its flaws (like a bald Hugh Jackman practicing Tai Chi or some kind of martial arts in space, which is a bit silly), but it's one of the most touching and endearing movies I've seen. I think you would get more out of it if someone very close to you has passed away. Also, it's beautifully shot. The sets, and the space ship bubble thing and the Nebula backgrounds that I believe were created using pictures of slides in microscopes* are breathtaking.

Love, love, love the movie, but I can understand it's not for everyone.

edit: *Ah, I found it:

Instead of using CGI, Aronofsky chose to do the special effects for the film by using micro-photography of chemical reactions on tiny petri dishes. He has said that CGI would take away from the timelessness of the film and that he wants the film to stand the test of time.
So awesome :)

So, here I was browsing my extensive MP3 library and suddenly while listening to an album I hadn't listened to along time I though "OMG this is Tension", but alas, it wasn't, instead it was a great album from Tosca.

Any inspiration driven from there? (Tension inspired by Tosca)

The album is Delphi 9 if anyone is interested.

That's a great tune! It reminds me a little of Jean Michel Jarre. Who's the author?

Oh God, why must you tease us that much? :)

That goes to say that the new music is gorgeous, and I hope it is attached to one of the new so fabled locations. ;)

These music surely sound like Tosca, which by itself is brilliant :D

Thank you mate.

Good ol' Mushroomer — it would be a shame if hired a different composer for this version. ;) By the way, a large part of the texts we've done during summer has actually made it into the new game! Hooray!

You're welcome! it's from one of the coolest new locations — one of my all-time favourites. BTW, I don't think I know what Tosca is, besides it translating to spleen from Russian. :-)

Have no fear! Wikipedia to the rescue http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tosca_(Band) (Although the info there is a little scarce.
