Hi forum!

1. Thank you for this atmospheric game.

2. I hate you for its degree of difficulty, as I want to enjoy it and not to be chased the whole time.

3. Sorry for my bad English, but I hope it is good enough to understand me.

I've got a few questions about The Void and I hope you can help me.

- I had to visit two mines. After visiting them (and taking all colours) one sister always says: Why are you mute? You have forgotten something in the mines... (but I have not, the colours are gathered) Then I visit the leader of the guards, who has given me this quest. There I can't talk to him, but I suppose I must to complete this quest. What do I do wrong?
- Is it possible to make the game uncensored?
- Can I skip the sister's monologues? I suppose starting a new game will be often used and therefore it is boring to listen to the same texts again and again...
- Is there a Cheat to slow down the thirst for colours of the Void?

Thank you for help.

greetings,
green

I think I can help with some of your questions:

- Is it possible to make the game uncensored?

The game isn't censored ;) (At least the German demo wasn't)

- Can I skip the sister's monologues? I suppose starting a new game will be often used and therefore it is boring to listen to the same texts again and again...

Use the space bar.

It is not censored? But I thought these annoying colours around the sisters were an instrument to prevent my adult eyes from seeing breasts...

And the other question? How did you end this quest?

Nevertheless thank you for your fast answering...

Unfortunately I only played the Russian where such things did not exist. (referring to quests).

As for the sisters, get them to level 4.

Did you go back to each mine again, to check there were no more colors? Also, if you're using an ATI card, turn off anti-aliasing. It will allow you to see veins of color hidden in the walls.

As Throdax says... the more you feed the sisters, the more scantily clad they will become :) The colors floating around them are definitely intentional (not censorship). That said, there was a fully nude mod for the original Russian version, though it caused some problems with geometry and I doubt it'd work with this release.

Btw, no need to apologise for your English - It's perfect.

Becoming more and more clad? Ahh...I understand...motivating gamers to go on...sly dogs :-P

There is not this quest in the Russian version or what do you mean?

There was no colour left... :-(

My English teacher does not think so...

...
No need for a nude patch. The main point is that I know it is not censored, since I hate paternalism ;-)

The original russian version had no quest what so ever.

You just had to gather colour and feed sisters? That seems to be boring, but I suppose it was worth it, as the game is beautiful (can't understand complaining about its graphics).

So you played the whole game?
Will the story become more reasonable?
I hope so, as I am very confused after being thrown in the Void...

Well (and bear in mind that is my opinion) not having quests is even better. It adds to the sense of dire, desolation, solitude, survival, lost.

(Some mechanics where changed to the German version to make the game easier ;) )

As for the story, I've been told the German story, although the same, was rewritten. The Russian story as a bit convoluted with a few plot twists. Kinda like a David Lynch movie ;)

... to make it more commercial... :-(
Well, I am going to lie in my bad, complaining about this fu**** commercial world, until I fall into sleep, but I will visit this site again with other questions...

Goodnight!

Don't worry... There is nothing typically commercial about The Void, or its story

I don't know what you can do about that quest in the mines, unfortunately. Maybe someone else can suggest something...?

Hello everyone. Sorry, I'm late :)

To complete the mine quest you need to visit Zew and Bastion, and in each find, break open, harpoon and suck color out of 3 veins. If you got all three, then all must be well. Hope this makes sence, since it's late and I need to sleep badly...

Hey Friends!

I also had this problem with the mines. I sucked out 3 colours out of each mine just in time, i even visited mandtit in his chamber but he only said, "Lets wait and see what the others will say about that" (or something similiar). Vormund (the one with his cage under the chest) simply told me later that i was supposed to fail after all and that this quest was impossible to complete.

After killing the pangolin, montgolfiere gave me another "quest": I Should kill 2 more worms. He definitely told me where they are but i cannot find it in the journal?
I killed the one that jumpes out of the water or something and eats up the flying predators already. Just cant find the last one.

Thanks in advance ;)

And the last one, the "real" worm, should be in Eli's realm.

Ah, found the last one! Thx. This is a really annoying creature. It moves very fast and the predators in its tunnels are also bit of work to do.

Thx anyway!
