First of all - supreme game!
This game has the best artstyle and synchronization I have seen/heard so far.

But I have a big problem with Mantid, I am in cycle 29 and have to fight him - but he can't be hurt.
I have tried everything:
- Every fighting glyph I have (wasp, owl, ritual, etc.)
- Ritual with different colours
- Ritual with all the same colour (even a 200 colour all green ritual when he was vulnerable to especially green)
- Completely sucking away the colour-ball before he gets there (his animation of healing himself comes nonetheless) and then attacking him

But no effect so far.
Here is a screenshot of a nearly 500 colour ritual that did not hurt him at all!



Of course I am only attacking him when the circles in the upper right corner are not grey.

Am I missing something, or is this a serious bug?

This may be a bug, that should be gone after restarting battle. Also, he regenerates health on drinking, so he may have gotten too much hp by that time.

You mean he can get more than his maximum HP (more than his HP bar) by drinking?
Also, how can i restart a battle?

He can, yes.
Only by reloading, sorry...

I will reload and hit him with a mighty ritual on his first drinking attempt, i hope this will work.

Hey guys, I am having this same problem. I have tried reloading different save files multiple times, even defending different sisters. Sometimes he can't damage me and sometimes he can, but his weakness circle thing is always grayed out. Please help, I really need to finish this game for review, thank you.

Mantid is only vulnerable while it gobs down the balls of lympha spread around.
