First of, I'm ashamed I didn't tried this earlier as everyone already discovered my dark secret

As such, I started playing this work of art after the D2D promotion which Hydra9 so kindly pointed out. I'm at day 2 of the Batchelor at the moment and I was wondering did anyone felt real fear, anxiety and adrenaline on the visit to the "Silent House"?

Bravo IPL, bravo!

PS: Again, sorry I'm late to the fun :(

Oh goodness, did I ever. I know I stood outside for a few moments and took a few screenshots (I have a whole folder dedicated to screenshots throughout Dan's chapter ) and then went inside. I will say that those feelings definitely didn't ease up once I got in, and what happens in there happened. That part is absolutely amazing for being incredibly unnerving and...

*spoiler* Any time I saw the same female model on the street I felt that same bit of anxiety and found myself moving away from her quickly because I was worried she'd advance and infect me as well.*end spoiler*

Ahh, Throdax, I'm also envious of you, seeing all this for the first time :)

Things get even freakier on Day 3

A doubt:

Bachelor - Day 4:

I have both the keys to the Cathedral and the Theater, and I can give them to the fat guy (I'm lousy with names). However if I do this, the main quest for the day will end even if I didn't check Ospina claim that Lara busted the water pipes to the city.

Since that claim is part of the main quest (red hand on map) and yet I can finish the day without investigating that claim. So my question is: Is the claim important or is it a bug that allows me to finish the day without it?

(Day 4 has a lot running around) :(

Oh that's my favourite day in Daniel's scenario exactly because there's a lot of running around!))

Yes, do give the keys to the fat guy Olgimsky Sr. You will be able to proceed with the pipes quest but it leads to nothing. Some say it's a bug but I also heard that it's just a joke.))

I do like that a day a lot because it, like day 2, are prime examples of what society would do if something like this epidemic broke out (day 2 because of the heightened store prices would more than likely happen, trying to capitalize on people's panic and such, day 4 because everyone would eventually want to point fingers at *someone* for all the little things that go wrong). There's so much story in that day and I really love it, wonderfully shows how paranoia and suspicion would be running wild in this kind of situation.

Just hard as hell to find money.

I keep a wallet of around 1500 for food and such, but food prices are getting ridiculous :(

I have a feeling I'll succumb to hunger or illness before day 12 :(

Try to survive until the morning of the fifth day and don't miss your fortune then :)

I'm already on the morning of day 5, alive and semi-well :)

I tried to do a the Gryph quest on day 4, the one about the splinter thug group. Here is a hint, not a good ideia to charge a warehouse full of thugs with only a scalpel. :D

Hehe, I had some trouble with that one. I was using the rifle and kept getting swarmed while reloading. In the end, I made good use of high ground. Nothing like a man standing on a box to outwit some thugs :D

I did a suicide stealth mission using a knife to kill the first one and 6 revolver shots for the rest. :) Managed to kill everyone from the 4-5 attempt or so.

I just gave up on the quest. :(

I was getting stabbed to death in less then on second.

And no, I don't have money for revolver or riffle, and yes, I sold the two revolvers given to me during the previous days.

That was a very bad choice - you need to raise money for a weapon and keep it in a good state. Try headstabbing bandits with knives - it's pretty profitable, once you get the hang of it. Also, you will find some food at the monument of the Kains near the Horns mansion park. It can be sold for 1.000 or so, if I'm not mistaken.

I definitely struggled on the Gryph day 4 quest indeed. I took the suggested combat tips from the walkthrough PDF (which I *love* the artwork on the "cover" for) and tried to crouch when I first entered to be stealthy and get headshots with the revolver. Somehow those bastards always managed to know I was coming in though. After around 5 or 6 tries though I got luck and killed most of them that way, finished the rest with the scalpel. Talk about intense!

Day 5 ended. I had the money for a gun that the Hunch gave me, but Griph had to charge to free Burakh... oh I how hate him.

Know I have 8500 money. I gun costs 15000 and the guards kill most of the robbers before I get to them. :(

If that isn't enough now there are arsonists on the streets and Eve house is infected.

I hate you IPL.

Ah yes the silent house. I thought 'uh oh' when I saw the red stains on the building, got nervous when I entered it and when I saw 'the room' I went: "GET ME THE HELL OUTTA HERE!"

Ah, yes. The Daniil's solution... I wonder if he ever played C&C?

Of course, still own the original C&C, along with Tiberium Sun and Tiberium Wars. Also played Red Alert 1 and 2.

The most discerning thing is that everyday I have to pass through this subway station to go to work.

It is getting on my nerves to be honest :)

 Brilliant! I wouldn't suggest graffitizing your subway, but I'd certainly be tempted to draw a town map there...
