My Pathologic tattoo is of the cattle brand the Haruspicus finds in his inheritance. It's black and pretty big, so I like to think of it as if Ice-Pick branded me. And no, you're not getting a picture!
A brand, you say.... Can't show, you say... Hm... ^____^
Nah, just kidding. It's very flattering. And also, while googling for the photos of your tattoo, I found that some other Russian fan also made one! (And now when I'm searching for it for the second time, I can't find it either. Fu~~~~~~~~~)

Something I didn't mention in the article is when you do reload a save from a while back, you'll always regain your progress in half or a quarter of the time simply because you know how the world works better, and I guess, you know what's coming. So it's not something that gets on my nerves.
Also... Autosave rules! :)

Another review: http://armchairarcade.com/neo/node/2913

Surprising to see it, they're mostly writing about older games there. Pretty cool, though.

A good review. :)

Although I find it curious how so many reviewers are having so much trouble drawing the glyphs. I rarely miss draw one and when I do, it is the more complex ones like extract or that other one used to ask the sisters about the brothers.

Maybe it is my heavy experience with the Russian version :)

2Throdax: Actually, many testers had problems drawing "alpha" (Donor glyph). Perhaps, the reason is the glyph demonstrated and the shape drawn as a hint are different. Anyways, game does understand both "alpha" with a curved end and just horizontal loop-shaped symbol. But it is true that attempts to draw just any alpha you want fail; the game accepts only certain types of these symbols. Maybe if you draw it without long "tails", the game does not understand, if it is alpha or "circle" (Shield glyph).
Also, it still seems to me that Extract glyph ("hourglass") sometimes fails to be recognized without any real visual difference between the symbol you have drawn and the one that is supposed to be "correct".

They're a strange bunch - one one hand they have excellent LP's, on the other such threads. :)

As a kind of epilogue, let me finish by saying that I’m going to be doing one final piece of writing on The Void later in the week on the subject of breasts and art. Because, y’know, The Void’s got me thinking. About breasts. And art. It should be good. Come for the breasts! Stay for the art.

Do any of those RPS posts have spoilers in them? I've been pretty much avoiding all media, since I want to approach this game fresh, but I would like to read more on what Quinns thinks.

I avoid every spoiler I can while still describing the basics of the game. Anything I put up on my blog or RPS'll be alright reading for you. Tuck in!

Hey everyone, it's great that we're going to soon get our hands on The Void!

Just curious about one thing though. Looking on RPS LxR you mention a bonus disc. I took a look over at Mamba and couldn't find any mention of this second disc. Would it be possible to confirm that it would be present when buying from for example play.com or amazon?

All the best and thank you soooo much for Pathologic, people are fed up of me waffling about it :D

Hey Jason, I just read this good, though bizarre, news on your site. Seems I'm going to have to buy a tabloid tomorrow. I can't imagine what they'll make of these games:

Some great news is that on Sunday 4th October the UK's largest newspaper "News of the World" will be reviewing "The Void" and "Outcry: The Dawn"

Oh dear. The News of The World aren't exactly known for their intelligent commentary on... anything, really. I can only imagine that something like The Void will break their brains.

I expect they'll like the breasts but as for the rest... Yeah  I'll pick up a copy today and see what they say.
